Account & Data

Delete Your Account

xkroot (and rbloxk, as shown on the store listing) lets you request permanent deletion of your account and associated data. This page explains how and what we delete.

How to request account and data deletion

You can request that your xkroot account and associated data be permanently deleted in either of these ways:

  1. From the xkroot app (recommended): Open the xkroot mobile or web app, go to Settings, then tap or click Delete account. Follow the on-screen steps and confirm deletion. Your account and linked data will be removed within a short time.
  2. By email: Send an email to privacy@xkroot.com from the email address associated with your xkroot account. Include your full name and a clear request to delete your account and data. We will process your request and confirm once the deletion is complete.

Data we delete

When you request account deletion, we permanently delete or irreversibly anonymize the following:

  • Your account (email, name, user ID, login credentials)
  • Profile data (candidate or company profile, bio, resume links, company details)
  • Posts, comments, likes, and saved content you created
  • Job applications and saved jobs
  • Messages and chat history
  • Network connections, connection requests, and related activity
  • Notifications and preferences
  • Subscription and payment-related records tied to your account
  • Stored files (e.g. resumes, media) associated with your account

Data we may keep (and for how long)

We may retain the following only as needed for legal, security, or legitimate operational reasons:

  • Legal and compliance: Copies of data required by law (e.g. tax, disputes, regulatory requests), typically for the period required by applicable law (e.g. up to 7 years where mandated).
  • Security and fraud: Anonymized or aggregated logs, security events, or fraud-related records that no longer identify you, for as long as needed for security and abuse prevention.
  • Backups: Deleted data may remain in backup systems for a limited period (e.g. up to 90 days) before being overwritten; backups are not used for active service and are secured like production data.

After deletion

Once your account is deleted, you will not be able to sign in or recover your data. You can create a new account at any time, but previous data will not be restored. If you have questions about this process, contact us at privacy@xkroot.com.
